WebGLRenderingContext: isShader() method

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.

Note: This feature is available in Web Workers.

The WebGLRenderingContext.isShader() method of the WebGL API returns true if the passed WebGLShader is valid, false otherwise.

Syntax

isShader(shader)

Parameters

shader

A WebGLShader to check.

Return value

A GLboolean indicating whether or not the shader is valid.

Checking a shader
