SVGAnimatedString: baseVal property

This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since January 2020.
BaseVal gets or sets the base value of the given attribute before any animations are applied. The base value of the given attribute before applying any animations. Setter throws DOMException.
