History: length property
Baseline Widely available
This feature is well established and works across many devices and browser versions. It’s been available across browsers since July 2015.
The length read-only property of the History interface
returns an integer representing the number of entries in the session
history, including the currently loaded page.
For example, for a page loaded in a new tab this property returns 1.
