re cray compiler support - it remains relevant for C++11 and C++14 tables (also, editing just the header/footer broke them, so I rv'd). But we should make header/footer standard version-dependent and drop the compilers that died out or folded into clang in later standards. --Cubbi (talk) 19:26, 14 February 2023 (PST)
- Hey, just in case, I've replied here, https://en.cppreference.com/w/User_talk:Cubbi#compiler_support
- Let me know what do you think.
- yes, I see PhilMiller still cares about it - personally I am not sure how I feel about compilers that switched to clang - XCode is clearly important to many enough people to track which version of it matches which version of clang.. but embarcadero, cray, and others? Maybe we should have a separate table for all such compilers to just match versions? --Cubbi (talk) 21:29, 24 February 2023 (PST)
